About the Role
As a School Psychologist, youll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide psychological assessments, interventions, and consultation services. Youll ensure compliance with educational standards while promoting emotional health, learning, and student resilience.
You will:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Interpret data to inform IEPs and intervention plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to support emotional and behavioral development
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to implement evidence-based strategies
- Support crisis intervention and behavioral response planning as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification (or eligibility)
- Experience working in school-based or educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to hybrid and in-person service models as needed
